Chapter 2034  Trial And Error.

Legion respects those who are smart. It is without a doubt that it was a good idea for the clone of Jason to escape because if he hadn't run with his tail between his legs, Legion-1 wouldn't mind converting him to Legion there and then.

Legion-1 then stopped thinking about the small shrimp that just escaped and instead focused on the void universe. He had more important matters to deal inside of dwelling on some weakling. He laughed and jeered at the will of the void universe, "Who will save you now?"

The will of the void universe replied with a cold, stern voice, "Nothing you do will matter at the end. You're just a rat at the bottom of a well. You're trapped now, and you will remain trapped forever."

Legion-1 didn't mind being talked down to like that. He said, "We will see about that."

Then he slammed into the golden sphere around the Will of the Void universe.

The golden sphere shook violently. It was not the only one. The core of the void universe also shook with it. Even the whole void universe itself shook as the force of the collision was transmitted to every corner of it.

This force caused the already turbulent void energy in the void universe to become more violent. It rioted and turned into a storm of energy that destroyed everything in its path. Any Supreme Origin god still holding on died immediately.

The force of the collision also cracked the immortal lands that origin gods live on. It was that powerful. The void universe looked like it was truly coming to an end.

But the golden sphere was not destroyed. Its light dimmed before it was replenished. So it flickered briefly after the collision, but it was not overwhelmed by it.

The void universe took that opportunity to taunt him. It said, "See? There's nothing you can do to stop your fate. You're trapped and will remain trapped forever. In a maximum of fifteen minutes, all of this will be over. It will be as if it never occurred. In fact, you will never be born. I will make sure of that."

Legion-1 didn't give up. He continued to smash his fist against the golden sphere. He even created a million arms and used them to pound the golden sphere.

When that wasn't enough, he created a billion arms to strike the golden sphere. A billion arms means a billion attacks at once. He was attacking with each arm a million times per second, so the amount of attack he was producing per second was 10^15.

That was 1,000,000,000,000,000, or 1 quadrillion attacks per second. Yet the golden sphere didn't budge. It only flickered, which delayed its activation, but it continued to grow in brightness and power.

The void universe itself was cracking all over and on the verge of destruction because of all the attacks, but the core of the void universe was stable, and the golden sphere was slowly getting stronger despite everything he was throwing at it.

He frowned as he analyzed the golden ring. Then he struck it with his apocalypse weapon.

The black lightning mark on his arm flashed and struck the golden sphere. But the golden sphere didn't budge. It didn't even flicker. It meant the Apocalypse weapon was useless against it and was less useful than raw power.

He thought to himself, "The main problem is that power source. Unfortunately, I can't reach it directly."

"Brute force doesn't work. The aspects of Space and Time don't work either. Probability is not showing any favorable outcome. Independence can't bypass it. It is as if this golden sphere is perfect and without any weakness."

Even though most of his aspects failed, they were able to help him narrow down the solution to two possibilities.

This is one of the benefits of having a lot of aspects. The chances of success in achieving something are higher with twelve aspects compared to the four aspects. He said, "So let's try the aspect of Evolution and Entropy. One of them has to work."

His figure broke apart into an ocean of black, chaotic energy. This ocean submerged a section of the golden sphere and began to corrode it with Entropy.

Now that he has stopped using brute force, the void universe stopped shaking and began to calm down. Cracks stopped spreading everywhere, and it didn't appear to be on the edge of destruction anymore. But things were far from peaceful.

Any system is weak to Entropy. But apparently, the golden sphere is not included in the group of things weak to Entropy. It is not that the golden sphere had an unlimited capacity for Entropy. He just couldn't affect it with Entropy at all.

It is because the Time Lock was locking every change to itself by disabling time. Without time, there is no change.

Unless he can get to the source of the Time Lock's power or overwhelm the rate at which the void universe can extract power from the white ball, he won't be able to do anything to the golden sphere.

But he still didn't give up. He still had one last aspect to try, which he did. Since the golden sphere doesn't want to change, he can change himself to become like the golden sphere.

He stopped using Entropy and instead analyzed the Time Grid with the Aspect of Knowledge. While he was doing so, he was using the Aspect of Evolution to change himself.

The aspect of Evolution is a great aspect, like Entropy. It is similar to Entropy in that they are both fueled by change. But Evolution is advantageous change, and it is change directed towards the owner of the aspect, not others.

This change can be permanent or temporary. It all depends on the wielder of the aspect.

The main problem with the aspect of Evolution is that it can be slow to take effect. There is a lot of trial and error needed before a favorable change can lead to evolution.
